About this notice
This notice covers the mergingminds website. For questions about your personal information, contact hello@mergingminds.co.
Cookies and tracking
The public website pages do not set cookies or run advertising pixels or analytics scripts. Its menus, catalogue filters and carousels work without storing your preferences between visits. If you choose a website colour, we save that choice in your browser’s local storage (mm-colour) so it carries across pages and future visits. You can return to the default palette by choosing original in the colour menu. The saved colour preference contains no personal details and remains until you choose another colour or clear this website’s browser data. If browser storage is unavailable, your colour choice applies only to the current page.
Your browser may cache website files so they load faster on later visits. You can manage cookies and cached files through your browser settings.
Private account logins
The password-protected website editor and private statistics dashboard use an essential session cookie to keep authorised users signed in. Separate statistics accounts provide access to the dashboard only. This cookie is restricted to this website, is not used for advertising or visitor analytics, and expires when the browser session ends. Account access expires after one hour without activity.
Password recovery
Authorised account holders can request a password-reset email at their saved recovery address. Reset links expire after 30 minutes and work once. Passwords and reset tokens are stored as hashes. Changing a password ends existing access for that account; users must sign in again.
Fonts and technical information
Fonts load from Google Fonts. Loading them sends a request to Google, which includes technical information such as your IP address. See Google Fonts’ privacy information.
When you visit a website, the hosting provider receives technical information needed to deliver its pages, such as your IP address and the files requested. The provider may also keep security and access logs.
Bookings and payments
Free-trial bookings are made through our website booking system. It stores your name, email address, chosen coach, appointment time and time zone in protected storage on our server. Booking confirmations and reminders are sent through our configured email service, Proton Mail. When connected, Google Calendar checks the coach’s availability and receives the appointment details; Zoom or Google Meet provides the meeting link. Payment links take you to Stripe. Card details entered at Stripe checkout are not collected by this website.
Read Proton’s privacy policy, Google’s privacy policy, Zoom’s privacy statement, Stripe’s privacy policy.
Contacting us
If you email or call us, we receive the information you choose to share so we can respond to your enquiry. Please avoid sending sensitive health or disability information in an initial enquiry; ask us how to share any information needed for your support.
The contact form sends the name, email address, topic and message you provide to mergingminds so we can respond. It uses our server and configured email service to deliver the enquiry.
Your information and rights
You can contact us to ask how your information is used or to request access, correction or deletion. Other rights may apply depending on the circumstances. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Information about records used to provide coaching, mentoring or other services should be supplied when you arrange that service. This website notice does not describe those separate service records. See our full privacy policy for the service privacy policy and retention schedule.
Changes to this website
We will update this notice if the website’s use of cookies or external services changes. Where a feature requires your consent, it must ask before using the relevant technology.
